Though the noise of the city never ceased, it dared not approach her now, as the rain that had snuck into the scene was nothing but a drip in comparison to the tears held behind her eyes by sheer will alone. In the distance, the solitary resonance of an equally woeful piano swept through the wind, but she could not hear them above her heartbeat. Only the lonely howl of a departing airliner touched her, making her shiver with sad acceptance.

I run as fast as I can, weaving around trees and roots alike. The tears from my cheeks drip into the dark pools among the swamp as I race. Flashes of light and impatient hollers tell me they are not far behind. But for an instant, just one moment, I lose them and duck behind a larger tree. It had come down to it at last. At first, battle had been done simply with words and glares across the tables. And then the incursions started. Minor pecks and skirmishes in the dawn, which quickly degenerated to outright warfare. Each side came at each other relentlessly, sparing no quarter and asking none. In short order, allies, neighbors and even outright strangers were pulled into the sickening fray. Casualties were as beaten as they were numerous, until finally the line was drawn in the sand and the ambassadors summoned. "Councilors, if there are no pending issues, then this divorce hearing will come to order."

Against the weight of the water, they pushed through broken streets and homes. The rain turned the road into a river, but that wasn't their concern. Instead, the tireless warriors swept against the current to pick up those flooded and scared. Rounding a bend, the convoy suddenly stared into a raging wall of water, causing all but the lead truck to halt. "We're not gonna make it!" "Yes we will, Bumblebee! Autobots, transform and stand your ground!" Upon command, the cranking and clattering of gears changed the vehicles into their more humanoid shape, allowing Optimus and the rest to brace its weight against the surf .

Persona 4 - Golden, Mayonaka and Anime

Did some snooping around about the new Persona stuff coming out, and have to vent somewhere. According to ign.com and others, Persona 4: The Golden will feature more animated cutscenes and tons more voice acting, including a rumored cutscene for every love interest when their S. Link is maxed. If this is true, then holy **** :D ! It also supports online co-operative play for the dungeons in a kind of 'Assistance Call-in', the best way I can describe it. Literally, one can ask other players for help in the dungeons and I suppose you can assist others. Why? To what end? No idea. Lastly, the female MC. Basically, just like Aegis, she has her ow

Too much of a good poision

There are some things in this world that need to be, some things that are because chance says so, and others that just need to be crushed back into the building blocks that made it because someone messed up somewhere.  Case in point: my humble self. I've never thought of myself as greedy or egotistical.  I'll gladly point out my faults to those who know me.  Others who meet me will tend to only see the me that they want to, as they would with you.  Everyone wears a mask, and is stuck looking through one too.  Is it wrong? I wouldnt think so, but it has lead to many a tragedy in history.  Again, in steps chance.  Or as others call it  chaos
